Who are we?

We are working to raise the profile of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in Adults.

We are a small group of adults who have come together to campaign for better recognition of Adult ADHD. We are individuals who have either obtained a diagnosis, or in the process of assessment, or have adult children who have been diagnosed.

    If you have ever wondered
what it's like to have Attention
    Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
(ADHD), take a quick look at this
    video, it may help.

         Thinking differently?

The name of the woes: Over the years the medical term for the disorder has changed a lot (ADD, AD(H)D, AD/HD and more). It has sometimes included attention deficiency or hyperactivity or both, but has subtypes.

The writers of this site have used various terms interchangeably to mean the same thing. Please don't feel left out, after all, a disorder with any other name would er, be just as disorderly (look we haven't the budget for a proper writer!).

For those of us who need reminding of the time!!

Our prime focus is to support individuals through the barriers which are often encountered, from within the NHS, when trying to obtain an assessment from some one who has the expertise and experience to diagnose Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (Adult ADHD).
